Mr Jamar Stoner is a Deputy Superintendent of Police, he is   major crime investigator, analyst and lecturer, currently assigned to the Criminal Investigations  Branch of the JCF.

He was trained in his field by the National Intelligence Bureau, Interpol, the Counter Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigation Branch, along with other local and international institutions.

Jamar  is well experienced in Organized Crime Investigations, which include – gang activities, cybercrimes and crimes for profit such as lottery scamming and associated forms of fraud. In 2021 he along with a team from the office of the DDP and the American Embassy designed a now practiced Investigative Approach to cybercrimes and lottery scamming. His contribution to National Security and Justice has been publicly acknowledged by the Chief Justice, Bryan Sykes d the Director of Public Prosecution, Paula Llewellyn.

Mr. Stoner is a participant in the ongoing High Potential Training Programme at the National Police College, which will see him becoming a Divisional Crime Officer within the next two years. His academic prowess has been informed by training at the University of Technology Jamaica and the National Police College, encompassing the fields of Management, Administration, Research, Planning and Operation.

He has been a Consultant with SSCL for the last 5  years and has worked with the CEO, Dr Andrew Spencer on several projects in corporate Jamaica. Mr. Stoner’s track record demonstrates remarkable competence, and his desire to make positive contributions is his fuel to keep going.
